I have put the wrong fuel in — should I start the car?
No. Do not turn the ignition on or start the engine, as that circulates the wrong fuel through the system and causes most of the damage. Leave it, book recovery online, and let a garage drain the tank.
Can the fuel be drained at the roadside?
This recovery booking does not promise roadside fuel draining or include garage repairs. Arrange transport to a garage that can assess the vehicle, and confirm draining, repair availability and charges with the garage separately.
What if I have just run out of fuel?
