Refund Policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
If we cannot arrange your recovery
If we cannot find an operator to fulfil your booking, we will cancel the booking and refund the booking price in full. If the vehicle or job details mean a revised quote is needed, we will ask you to accept the revised price before proceeding. If you do not accept, contact us to cancel and we will refund the original booking price.
If you cancel
Tell us as soon as possible using the contact details below and include your booking reference. If you cancel before a driver has been dispatched to your collection location, our policy is to refund the booking price in full. If a driver has already been dispatched, we may deduct only costs reasonably and actually incurred for your booking, where the deduction is lawful. We will explain the proposed deduction and its calculation; we will not apply an undisclosed fixed cancellation fee. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Call +44 7415 245241 or email support@towmycar.uk. Include your booking reference, vehicle registration and the reason for your request. We may confirm that you are the customer or an authorised representative before sharing booking information or changing the booking.
How and when a refund is paid
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method where possible. Your bank or card provider controls how quickly the refund appears after it has been processed. If you have not received it, contact us with your booking reference and we can check its status.
Your legal rights
Statutory cancellation rights depend on the service and the contract. In particular, consumer cancellation rules can have an exception for transport of goods where the contract specifies a particular date or period. Vehicle recovery bookings may involve transport of a vehicle on a selected date, but whether that exception applies to a particular booking depends on its circumstances. Contact us if you need help understanding how this policy applies. Nothing in this policy takes away rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. See our Terms of Service.
